Service

Website speed optimization that fixes the cause, not just the score.

We find out why your WordPress, WooCommerce or Shopify site is slow — hosting, images, scripts, fonts, plugins or the database — fix it in order of impact, and keep it fast with 24/7 monitoring.

  • Measured on real phones, not just Lighthouse
  • Before-and-after report
  • SpeedPulse monitoring included

Sound familiar?

The conversations that usually lead here.

  • “Google says our site is slow.”

Search Console shows red Core Web Vitals, and the pages that used to rank are slipping.

  • “Ads are expensive and people leave.”

You pay for the click, and the page is still loading when the visitor gives up.

  • “It scores 95 on desktop and 38 on mobile.”

Most of your customers are on a phone, often on mobile data.

Why it matters

Speed is a sales problem before it is a technical one.

  • 8.4%More retail conversions from a 0.1-second faster mobile site
  • 48%Of mobile websites pass Core Web Vitals
  • 59%Of global web traffic comes from mobile

What we fix

The six places the seconds usually go.

  • Hosting and server response

Page caching, PHP and database tuning, LiteSpeed or Nginx settings and a CDN, so the first byte arrives fast.

  • Images

WebP or AVIF, correct sizes, lazy loading below the fold and priority loading for the main image.

  • JavaScript and CSS

Unused scripts removed, render-blocking files deferred, third-party tags audited one by one.

  • Fonts

Self-hosted, preloaded and subset fonts with a sensible fallback, so text never waits.

  • Plugins and apps

WordPress plugins and Shopify apps that load on every page, replaced or trimmed.

  • Database and WooCommerce

Autoloaded options, expired sessions, heavy queries and cart fragments cleaned up.

How it works

Five steps, and you see the numbers at each one.

  1. Measure

Real-user data from the Chrome UX Report where it exists, plus lab tests on a mid-range Android phone.

  2. Prioritise

A short list of fixes, ordered by how much time each one saves.

  3. Fix on staging

Every change is made on a copy of your site first, with a backup and a rollback plan.

  4. Verify

A before-and-after report for LCP, INP and CLS on your key pages.

  5. Monitor

SpeedPulse checks your site around the clock and alerts us when it slows down.

Before you ask

Questions about speed work.

Still unsure? Ask us directly — we answer in one business day.

Can you guarantee a PageSpeed score of 100?

No honest developer can, because lab scores move with every test. We agree targets for the metrics Google actually uses — LCP, INP and CLS — and report the before and after.

Will speed work break my site?

Every change is made on a staging copy first, with a full backup and a rollback plan. Nothing reaches your live site until it has been tested.

Can you speed up a Shopify store?

Yes. Most slow Shopify stores are slowed down by apps and theme code rather than by Shopify itself. We trim apps, fix the theme and optimise images.

Do we need to change hosting?

Sometimes. If the server is the bottleneck we will show you the numbers and recommend options. Often caching and clean-up are enough.

How long does it take?

A Speed Sprint usually takes one to two weeks. Larger projects are scheduled after a short audit.
